We have all ages attending, and women from many walks of life are represented. If you are not a believer, but are curious about learning more about God, you are more than welcome at The Potter’s Mark as well.

When you think of The Lodge, think rustic camp cabin on the beach. Bathrooms are communal but you will have everything you need! The Lodge still has AC & heat, as well as electricity. There are no fridges or microwaves in the Lodge, though you will have access to a microwave in the cafeteria for communal meals. The cottages are a bit farther from all of our activities but they are cozy bungalows that each vary in size, look, and arrangement, but all come with their own shared bathroom and kitchen. The cottages are more geared towards groups of women who come together, but we may be able to make arrangements for individual attendees who would like to stay in a cottage. Photos of both lodging options can be found here.

Pack all of your typical essentials you would need for a weekend away! A few things specifically for this retreat, an extension cord or strip if you need more than a couple outlets or would like a plug by your bed, sheets and pillows, and comfy walking shoes! More specific packing instructions will be emailed to you after registration.

The Potter’s Mark is hosted, supported, and promoted by a nonprofit organization called Upward Bound Youth (UBY), based in Smithville, Ohio. UBY exists to teach truth and equip youth and families with the gospel to be rooted, relational, and responsive citizens of Christ's Kingdom. They do this through youth programming, community events & conferences (like The Potter’s Mark), a year-long Bible institute, mentorship, and more. Yes! Mothers are welcome to bring their infants to The Potter’s Mark. Simply let us know in your registration so we can make sure you will have a private room. To help make your stay at Beulah Beach comfortable, please plan to bring a pack ‘n’ play, portable crib, or similar sleeping space for your child. Rooms will not have cribs provided, so bringing your own will ensure both you and your baby rest well.
